Greener Kirkcaldy is an environmental community group that aims to help local people to reduce their carbon footprints and fuel bills, and to promote environmentally friendly choices. They run an information centre in Kirkcaldy town centre, and work with community groups throughout the local area.

This exciting project advises people on a range of environmental issues such as energy efficiency, greener transport options from walking and cycling to car-sharing and ‘eco-driving’, waste reduction and local food – promoting local produce and encouraging those who want to grow their own. It helps people to save money on their electricity and gas bills, and gives advice on energy-saving measures such as home insulation.
