The AYE (Adventist Youth Exchange) magazine is a Scottish youth-led Christian publication who’s aims are to be “a truly representative environment for the young people in Scotland to engage each other and various issues of interest.” Being a non profit publication all the contributions to the magazine are made by young volunteers so that its’ focus remains on its’ young audience. The publication is available free of charge throughout the churches’ congregations.
Designers on the Run were asked to design the branding for the original title which was also used as a graphical monogram throughout the layout of the first issue as a way of reinforcing the brand. We were also responsible for the magazine design which included the layout and art-direction of the publication. With our suggestion, the second issue was printed using FSC 100% recycled paper and vegetable inks befitting the Christian ethos of the magazine.
The Aye magazine logo was also included in ‘Logo’ a book dedicated to “highly unsurpassable and recognizable!” logo design by the German publishing house Zeixs. We feel its a great honour to be selected. If you wish to purchase a copy either to read or mimic the bookshelf aesthetic achieved by other weighty tomes (SMLXL comes to mind) then please order from the website. Using the Coffee Table Book Law GIRTH / CONTENT = PRICE you can see that EUR 19,90 represents fantastic value!
